Lytron Identified as a Top Ten Thermal Management Supplier

In a report published recently by BCC Research, Lytron is identified as one of the top 10 thermal management companies. The two main criteria used to evaluate suppliers were technological superiority and business management. Read Article

Nicolas Venjean

Lytron has added to its Europe sales team with the recent hire of Nicolas Venjean as regional account manager. Venjean will primarily provide sales and engineering support to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM’s) in France, Belgium, Spain, and Switzerland. Venjean’s resume includes a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and physics and a master’s degree in mechanics and thermodynamics from the University of Valenciennes in France. His prior work experience includes positions in sales engineering management, thermal design engineering, and research and development.

Lytron announced today that it has acquired Lydall Industrial Thermal Solutions, Inc (“Affinity”) from Lydall, Inc (NYSE). Affinity is a leading designer and manufacturer of high performance industrial chillers and liquid-to-liquid cooling systems for the semiconductor, laser, and industrial markets.

Shanghai

Lytron has added to its China sales team with the hire of Zexuan Liu. Liu’s resume includes a master’s degree in marketing and management from Loughborough University in the UK and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Huazhong University of Science & Technology in China. In addition, his prior work experience includes sales in the thermal management industry, and he has extensive knowledge in liquid cooling, cold plates, heat sinks, fans, and their application in electronics cooling and power converter/inverter cooling.

“Zexuan’s experience in the thermal management industry as well as his knowledge of the entire supply chain will help us to provide our Chinese customers with the best value custom liquid cooling solutions,” notes Lytron Accounts Manager Mac Liu.

Engineering Internships

Lytron, located just 15 miles north of Boston, has access to some of the best engineering schools in the world. Last year, Lytron began working again with local universities to offer cooperative education (co-op) internships to top-performing undergraduate engineering students. The internships, which last 4-6 months, have been coordinated with Boston area schools including Wentworth Institute of Technology and Northeastern University. In growing companies like Lytron, internships often end up resulting in full-time positions after graduation. In fact, one of Lytron’s senior engineers actually started his Lytron career as an intern from Wentworth Institute of Technology more than 25 years ago!
