Lytron Awarded Workforce Training Fund Grant

Lytron was recently awarded a $106,800 grant for employee training and professional development. Lytron will be using the grant to pay for trainings for more than 150 office and factory employees in Massachusetts. The trainings will be largely focused on lean manufacturing and are expected to help improve overall product quality and first pass yields of custom chillers, cooling systems, cold plates, and heat exchangers. They are also expected to help Lytron identify ways to further increase efficiency under its current lean manufacturing program. Read Press Release

Horizontal Machining Center

Lytron recently announced that it has increased its production capacity with the purchase of additional Horizontal Machining Centers (HMCs) for its Woburn, Massachusetts factory. The new HMCs will be used to machine large volumes of aluminum cold plates and liquid-cooled chassis.

Plate-Fin Heat Exchanger with Chem Film

Lytron has added to its China sales team with the hire of Zexuan Liu. Liu’s resume includes a master’s degree in marketing and management from Loughborough University in the UK and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Huazhong University of Science & Technology in China. In addition, his prior work experience includes sales in the thermal management industry, and he has extensive knowledge in liquid cooling, cold plates, heat sinks, fans, and their application in electronics cooling and power converter/inverter cooling.

“Zexuan’s experience in the thermal management industry as well as his knowledge of the entire supply chain will help us to provide our Chinese customers with the best value custom liquid cooling solutions,” notes Lytron Accounts Manager Mac Liu.
