Happy New Year! At Lytron’s corporate offices and factory in Woburn, Massachusetts, we’ve been celebrating the holidays as well as the end of a very successful year. In our 2010 Fiscal Year, Lytron grew its revenue more than 35%. Although this was a record growth year for Lytron, the company has been enjoying significant sales growth during the last 15 years.
To support our record revenue growth, Lytron increased its staff by 20% in 2010. We hired experienced engineers to increase our prototype design capacity, expand our in-house testing capabilities, and intensify our Research and Development (R&D) efforts. We also hired factory staff for both our first and second shifts. Lytron expanded at its headquarters as well as in China with the opening of an office in Shanghai. Our 2011 plans include the hire of additional experienced engineers, buyers, planners, sales representatives, and factory staff to support our growing business.
In 2010 Lytron also continued its investment in capital equipment with the purchase of a new high speed machining center, a vacuum chamber, and more. We’re frequently updating the manufacturing equipment in our 115,000 ft2 (10,700 m2) facility with the latest technologies. Our ongoing goal is to shorten prototype and production lead times while continuing to deliver the highest quality components and systems.

Our products provide thermal solutions for Global Fortune 500 companies in the medical, military, aviation, laser, power generation, traction, semiconductor, analytical instrument, and data center industries.
