Lytron announced yesterday that it has purchased a new Mazak HCN 5000-II Horizontal Machining Center (HMC). The purchase will improve Lytron’s factory efficiency as well as increase capacity. “Our goal with the purchase of the Mazak is to deliver the highest quality cold plates and chassis,” notes Kathleen Schoonmaker, Lytron’s vice president of operations. “The HMC will reduce the amount of time it takes to machine complex cold plates while ensuring they meet the highest quality and reliability standards.” Read the Full Press Release.
